About Us

Allison Demoline MA Counselling

Allison Demoline has a Master’s of Arts in Counselling degree from Providence Theological Seminary. I follow the code of Ethics set out by the Professional Association of Canadian Christian Counsellors.

I have experience in working with men and women addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, losses in life, abuse issues, family issues, anger, guilt, shame and many other issues.

My approach to counselling is a holistic, growth oriented approach which encourages and nurtures client strengths. Our work together will address your physical, emotional, cognitive, behavioural and spiritual health as we address issues from a holistic perspective.

I enjoy working together with my clients to find solutions to practical life issues.

Respect:

It takes courage to seek therapy and ask for help. Sometimes it can feel risky to open up to another person and share thoughts and feelings that are deeply personal. I believe each person is valuable and each of us has a unique life story. It is important to me to provide a place where people feel respected and safe to tell their story and discuss difficult issues in their life. While my own believe system has an impact on how I think, how I see our world and how I view people, I believe it is important to respect the values of others and as such I will not force my own values upon you. Please feel free to ask me about my beliefs, background and qualifications or any other concerns or questions you may have.
